This Privacy Policy explains how WealthSprout ("WealthSprout," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit wealthsprout.com, purchase a product, sign up for our free Money Kit, or use the WealthSprout web app (the "Services"). WealthSprout is operated by WealthSprout Academy LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Contact information — your name and email address when you request the free Money Kit, join a waitlist, create an account, or contact us.
• Payment information — when you purchase a workbook, bundle, or web app subscription, payment details (card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. WealthSprout does not store full card numbers on our own servers.
• Account information — if you create an account to access purchased content, we collect the email address and credentials needed to authenticate you, stored via Supabase.
• Communications — anything you send us directly, such as support requests or survey responses.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data — pages visited, time on page, links clicked, referring URL, and general engagement with the Services.
• Device and browser data — IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system.
• Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for full detail on the categories of cookies and tracking pixels we use.

2. How We Collect Information

• Checkout and purchase forms (processed via Stripe)
• Email opt-in forms, including the free Money Kit opt-in and Money Lab waitlist
• Account creation and sign-in (via Supabase authentication)
• Cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies placed on our site and in our emails

3. How We Use Your Information

• Order fulfillment — to deliver the digital product(s) you purchased or requested, and to provide access to your customer account.
• Email marketing — to send the free Money Kit, program updates, promotional offers, and educational content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• Analytics and product improvement — to understand how visitors use our site and improve our content, pricing, and user experience.
• Advertising and retargeting — to show relevant ads on platforms like Google and Meta/Facebook, including to people who have previously visited our site.
• Customer support — to respond to your questions and requests.
• Legal compliance — to comply with applicable law, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following third-party service providers, each of which processes a limited set of data on our behalf or independently in accordance with their own privacy policies:

• Stripe — payment processing for all purchases.
• Resend — delivery of transactional and marketing emails (e.g., your Money Kit, order confirmations).
• Supabase — database hosting and account authentication for customer accounts and the WealthSprout web app.
• Google Analytics — aggregated, anonymized analytics about site usage.
• Meta Pixel — advertising measurement and retargeting on Facebook and Instagram.
• Google Ads — advertising measurement and remarketing on Google Search, Display Network, and YouTube.
• Affiliate partners — Greenlight, Fidelity Youth Account, Acorns Early, and Stockpile. If you click an affiliate link on our site, the destination company's own privacy policy governs any data you provide to them directly. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for money.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

WealthSprout sells educational products to parents and guardians, not directly to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All purchases, account creation, and email communications are intended for and managed by a parent or guardian. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental involvement, we will take steps to delete that information. Parents may contact us at privacy@wealthsprout.com to review, correct, or request deletion of any information associated with their account or their child's use of our printed/PDF materials.

6. Your Privacy Rights — EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@wealthsprout.com with the subject line "GDPR Request." We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

7. Your Privacy Rights — California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and shared
• Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (WealthSprout does not sell personal information for monetary consideration)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and comply with our legal and accounting obligations. Email marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Purchase and transaction records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), restricted access to production systems, and reputable third-party processors (Stripe, Supabase) — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
